The K-Nection: Educational Service Unit #5
The K-Nection project connects 119 educational entities in Nebraska and Kansas which include K-12 school districts, Universities, Colleges, National Parks, and other Educational Partners. The network has the ability to carry unlimited courses, enrichment activities or meetings. Gateways allows for connections to additional distance learning system with 25 educational entities. Internet connections permit distance learning activities from anywhere world wide.

The sheer size and program capacity gives schools in the K-Nection consortium an ample selection of instructional content to meet nearly all of their students’ needs, regardless of how small the individual schools are. This project integrates the best distance learning technologies available with outside instructional management technologies to create a powerful, technology-rich learning environment.
