Module C: Where Can I Find Mathematics in Art?

In Program C.8, students work cooperatively to explore both two- and three-dimensional figures. Through active investigation, they discover properties of geometric shapes while gaining an appreciation of their own geometric world. The following student samples reflect students applying their knowledge of a variety of geometric concepts in their own art creations.

Process:
1. Beginning Shape.
2. Change 1/2 of line, flip over then slide down.
3. Change two line halves then slide diagonally.
