In the July/August 2000 edition of DEAF USA (Vol. 14, Issue 91), an article on distance learning, "Adult Education Goes on the Internet" by Therese Shellabarger cites DLRN as a resource for teachers, K-12 students and adult learners.
"Resources for teachers include courses for professional development or about teaching online, and examples that teachers can use as models for developing their own courses. Students will find links to online and correspondence schools. An online library answers frequently asked questions and has links to articles, newsletters and journals on learning from a distance."
