Welcome to Transforming Teaching with Technology! This interactive newsletter will focus on the role of emerging technologies as catalysts to improve student learning. Each edition will focus on a specific class of technology, and spotlight various projects that use it. We will be particularly alert to examples from the U.S. Department of Education's Star Schools Program, one of the most successful public/private partnerships for delivering distance education in the United States. We will also provide ways to experience aspects of each featured technology firsthand. Look for the "Discuss This" link: we're inviting readers to participate in an interactive, asynchronous discussion about the topics raised.
